The safety and security of our attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and staff is our top priority at ITC Vegas. ITC Vegas has enhanced overall security for the event, and we are currently working with our partners to ensure safety remains a top priority throughout the event.  We do not share the details of our plans and procedures, but we will be updating certain policies publicly, such as our bag policy.

Security measures and operational plans are in place, including:

  • NEW bag policy for certain sessions
  • Valid ID's are required for badge pick-up and ticket verification
  • A badge can be reprinted once for free; any further reprints will incur a charge
  • Uniformed and covert security guards
  • Crowd management staff, signage and barriers, as necessary
  • Attendees must pick up their own badges; team members are not permitted to pick up badges for others

To help us all stay safe and secure during the event, here are five key things you can do:

  1. Remove Your Badge When Exiting the Event: While badges are required within the event space, please remove your badge when leaving the event space. You will need your badge for every day of the conference, so please do not forget it. Keep in mind that a badge can be reprinted once for free, but any subsequent reprints will incur a charge.
  2. Stay Aware of Your Surroundings: Stay Aware of Your Surroundings: Always remain alert, especially in crowded areas. Trust your instincts—if something doesn’t feel right, take note of it. If you see something, say something. Please report any suspicious activity immediately to event management or on-site security personnel. Mandalay Bay security can be reached at 702-632-7911.
  3. Protect Your Belongings: Keep your valuables close to you at all times. For added security, consider storing important items in your hotel room or locked storage when possible.
  4. Limit Cash and Use Secure Payment Methods: We recommend carrying only what you need in cash. For your safety, use credit cards or ATMs when possible to minimize the risk of theft. Keep your ID on you at all times.
  5. Enjoy Responsibly: Be mindful of alcohol consumption, especially in unfamiliar environments. Stay aware of your limits and look out for each other.

Lanyard policy

For the safety and security of all ITC Vegas participants, all sponsors and attendees are required to wear the official show lanyards provided at registration.
  • Identification & Access: The official lanyards are part of our event’s security system. They allow event staff and security personnel to easily identify who is authorized to be in specific areas.
  • No Substitutions: Personal or branded lanyards may not be used in place of the official show lanyards. Wearing unofficial lanyards can delay access at checkpoints and may result in being stopped by security.
  • Enforcement: Security staff will be instructed to enforce this policy. Anyone not wearing the official show lanyard will be asked to return to registration to obtain and wear one.

Beware of scams

Scams Targeting InsureTech Connect Attendees and Exhibitors

Throughout the years, InsureTech Connect has been a target of groups trying to offer all types of services from fictitious hotel arrangements to fraudulent lead generation services.

We understand that you may be contacted by outside companies or individuals attempting to sell you exhibitor services, lead retrieval, hotel reservations, attendee lists, or more for the upcoming ITC Vegas event. Please rest assured, we never sell our attendee's or sponsor's/exhibitor's contact information – in fact, we follow strict data privacy regulations at Clarion Events, ITC’s parent company.

These 3rd party companies will scrape event websites for exhibiting, sponsoring and attending companies and research contact information in order to present themselves as members of our team or show partners. Unless the phone call is coming from one of our verified team members or the email is from one of the following addresses, it is a scam—and we ask that you please proceed with caution!
