Tony Skipper serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Technology of America, a position he has held since 2021. Tony’s long tenure in insurance technology gives him a unique perspective for business centricity and commitment to technological excellence. Tony started his career as a university economics professor before becoming an IT executive with United Guaranty, an AIG company. Tony moved to the corporate organization in 2008 and became the Global Head of Infrastructure before being named as the CIO of the Americas Region. In this position, Tony led IT delivery internationally with offshore support across the globe. During this time, he sponsored the first AIG Women in Technology chapter which became the AIG Global Women in Technology organization with 14 local chapters.

Using his unique brand of bringing business and technology professionals together, Tony’s next role was Global Head of Relationship Management before moving to Tokyo for three years to serve as the CIO of AIG Japan. In 2021, Tony joined Allianz Technology of America as President and CEO.

Tony and his wife Kris have one adult son and the “world’s best dog,” George. Tony splits his time between Minneapolis and his home state of North Carolina. He enjoys working on his farm, collecting antique cars, and is an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan.
