Thomas has had a diverse career in cyber insurance spanning legal, claims, product, and underwriting functions. Currently, he is the Chief Executive Officer at Converge, Inc., an insuretech MGA, with a vision to expertly fuse fundamental underwriting with advanced modeling and technology to drive the best insurance outcomes for our partners and customers. 

Prior to joining Converge, he led the North America cyber practice at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) as the Head of Cyber, Tech, and Media. During his tenure, he returned the practice to strong profitability and growth by creating and realigning underwriting and product capabilities while instilling underwriting and pricing discipline. He joined AGCS from Willis Towers Watson (WTW), where he focused on developing innovative enterprise client solutions as the Global Head of Cyber Products.

While Tom was focused on large commercial risk at AGCS and WTW, he built the cyber practice at The Hartford targeting small and mid-sized businesses. As the Enterprise Head of Cyber at The Hartford, he oversaw cyber liability written across all lines of business, including Liability and Property, and developed risk management tools to address “silent cyber” and cyber accumulation concerns across the portfolio.

By training, Tom is an attorney admitted to the Bar of New York. He has approximately ten-years of experience as an attorney and managing cyber claims and related cyber services.
