Tom Holmes is Akur8’s Chief Actuarial Officer, overseeing the company's pricing and reserving actuarial teams as well as the rating engine implementation team. He brings extensive experience in personal and commercial insurance modeling and actively contributes to the actuarial community through his volunteer work with the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS). He is co-author of CAS Monograph 13: Penalized Regression and Lasso Credibility, a Fellow of the CAS, and holds music degrees from the University of Michigan and Ohio University.
