Stella Dong
Stella Dong is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Reinsurance Analytics. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and brings deep expertise in AI, optimization, and applied mathematics for solving complex, real-world problems. Before founding Reinsurance Analytics, Stella led machine learning and data engineering initiatives to design real-time pricing models, AI-powered infrastructure, and conversational healthcare assistants that guided patients through medical procedures. Her work focuses on using advanced AI—particularly reinforcement learning and retrieval-based systems—to help the insurance and reinsurance industry accelerate and automate core processes while ensuring transparency, compliance, and trust remain central.
