Shigeo Kuwabara is Executive Officer and Chief Digital Transformation Officer (CDXO) at GenerativeX, Inc., where he leads business and organizational transformation powered by generative AI.

Prior to joining GenerativeX in 2025, he served as President and CEO of E.design Insurance (now Tokio Marine Direct), a digital insurance subsidiary of Tokio Marine Group, where he drove a company-wide transformation spanning products, services, technology, and culture. In 2021, he launched "&e" (pronounced "andy"), a co-created auto insurance product that accelerated the company's operational innovation.

He began his career in 1989 at Tokio Marine & Fire Insurance (now Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance), where he led the development of "Cho Hoken" (Super Insurance), Japan's first integrated life and non-life insurance product, along with major reforms in insurance products, operations, and systems. During his time in New York, he served as CIO and Head of Business Process Innovation at the company's U.S. subsidiary.
