Ryan Steil is the founder and CEO of Prediction Lab. He's an actuary, data scientist, and engineer in one: he built pricing models at Liberty Mutual, ran actuarial engineering at Hippo, and led actuarial innovation at PURE. He's used every tool on the market, got fed up with the trade-offs, and in January 2025 left to build the software he always wanted. Since then he's bootstrapped Prediction Lab solo to a live product, ready to bring the transformation of predictive modeling to every carrier.
