Rich brings over 35 years of extensive expertise in the insurance industry, encompassing disciplines such as Actuarial Science, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Operations, Environmental Management, MGA Programs, Information Technology, and Data Management.

Before joining Falcon Risk Services, Rich spent 28 years at AIG, concluding his tenure as Global Head of Information Management, Governance, and Architecture, where he led enterprise-wide strategies for data governance and information management. His prior roles included Chief Data Officer for AIG Specialty Lines, Head of Common Systems and Strategies for AIG-Chartis, and Chief Operations Officer at AIG Environmental.

At Falcon Risk Services, Rich serves as the strategic architect of the IT ecosystem, driving a comprehensive digital transformation. His achievements include implementing modern Policy and Claims Administration Systems, building advanced Data Management and Analytics platforms, establishing Business Intelligence capabilities, and strengthening IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, ERP systems, and compliance frameworks.

In 2025, Rich spearheaded Falcon’s AI initiatives, including the deployment of NVIDIA DGX Spark for predictive modeling and advanced analytics, positioning Falcon at the forefront of responsible AI adoption in insurance. He co-presented at the Insurance Data Management Association annual conference on “AI in Action: Transforming Underwriting, Claims, and Customer Engagement with Strong Data Governance” and hosted Falcon’s AI unboxing series to showcase practical applications of emerging technologies. Falcon’s digital transformation was recognized with a Datos Insights Insurance Technology Impact Award, highlighting measurable gains in operational efficiency and speed-to-market.

Rich earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Business, and Statistics from the University at Albany and his MBA in Risk Management and Actuarial Science from St. John’s University Greenberg School of Risk Management.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Insurance Data Management Association and is an active member of the InsureTech Committee for the Wholesale Specialty Insurance Association and the CIO Committee for the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers.
