Rachel Bell

Rachel Bell is Vice President, Scores Product Management at FICO, responsible for scoring solutions across financial services and for the FICO® Safe Driving Score product line. Over her 31-year career with FICO, she has built a deep foundation in trusted scoring and the responsible use of data, from her early work developing behavior and application scores to credit bureau–based solutions for both individual clients and broad markets. She also led the development and launch of FICO’s international credit score, now available in more than 30 countries outside North America.

For nearly a decade, Rachel has focused on safe driving and telematics, beginning with the development and launch of the FICO® Safe Driving Score. She brought FICO’s rigorous model development discipline and consumer-focused features—such as explainability—to telematics, extending the company’s long history of trusted scoring into new risk domains.

Born and raised in Northern California, Rachel is based in the San Francisco Bay Area; outside of work, she enjoys traveling and a variety of creative pursuits, leaning into the right side of her brain to balance a career grounded in analytics.
