Philip Charles-Pierre is Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Semsee, the leading platform for commercial insurance transactions. Semsee streamlines digital distribution by connecting intermediaries with markets improving efficiency and profitability. Under Philip’s leadership, Semsee has grown into a platform linking over 50 carriers with hundreds of products to nearly 10,000 agencies, powering billions of dollars in quoted premium. Agencies use Semsee to reach their appointed carriers and discover new markets, while carriers and MGAs rely on Semsee to expand distribution and drive growth.

Before Semsee, Philip was SVP of Distribution at Smarter Agent, a mobile search and discovery platform later acquired by Keller Williams. There, he forged partnerships with top real estate franchises — including Century 21, Sotheby’s, Keller Williams, Berkshire Hathaway, and ERA — while scaling the SaaS platform to 3,000 brokers and 400,000 agents.

Earlier in his career, he helped build the Travelocity Partner Network into a multi-billion-dollar business, powering travel sites for American Express, Yahoo!, and others. He also led Starwood Hotels’ Preferred Guest digital business, relaunching SPG.com driving greater adoptions to its various brands, launched Guideposts Media’s first digital strategy, and began his career in investment banking and the nonprofit sector.

Philip holds degrees in Philosophy and International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s in Philosophy of Religion from Harvard University.
