Pat Blandford is the Founder & CEO of Green Shield Holdings, the parent company of Property Guardian and Green Shield Risk Solutions. Property Guardian is a leader in wildfire analytics and catastrophe risk intelligence, providing property-specific risk assessments, real-time monitoring, and customized mitigation strategies that enhance insurability, reduce losses, and build resilience. Green Shield Risk Solutions is a managing general agent (MGA) designed for today’s catastrophic risk environment. Its flagship program, Guardian Elite Home, offers exclusive homeowners coverage tailored for properties in wildfire-prone regions of California and Colorado.

Before founding Green Shield, Pat served as CEO of Tokio Marine Highland, where he grew the company from $170 million to $450 million in gross written premium (GWP) while significantly improving underwriting profitability. He also serves as Chairman of Wellen Capital Holdings and was previously a Managing Director at Frontenac and CCCC Growth Fund, two private equity firms specializing in business and financial services.

Pat holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in analytics from the University of Notre Dame. He began his career at Goldman Sachs and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
