Parimal Kumar

Parimal Kumar is senior vice president of Technology at Erie Insurance. He joined ERIE in December 2025. In this role, Kumar oversees Erie's Services and Experience Technology Division and leads initiatives supporting technology modernization, digital transformation and overall service delivery for our Agents and Customers. Kumar joined Erie Insurance from QBE North America, where he served as head of Technology and Transformation and divisional chief information officer. There, he was responsible for aligning technology strategy with business priorities and leading transformational initiatives that enhanced customer experience, operational effectiveness and organizational agility.

Kumar brings more than two decades of technology and transformation experience in the insurance industry. His expertise includes digital strategy, enterprise architecture, cloud modernization, agile delivery and technology operating models. Kumar earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela in India.
