Nick Mehelic
Nick Mehelic serves as Group Chief Operating Officer of Hadron, a specialty insurer that empowers MGAs with flexible capacity and efficient reinsurance administration. As a founding member of Hadron's leadership team, Nick has driven the company's rapid operational growth — including its expansion into the UK — while building a modern, underwriting-led, technology-enabled operating model.
He brings nearly 25 years of insurance industry experience spanning operational, financial, and consulting roles at organizations including Accelerant, AXIS Capital, Munich Re, KPMG, and Aon.
Nick holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designations, along with degrees in Risk Management & Insurance and Management Information Systems, and an MBA in Finance. He also maintains agency and surplus lines producer licenses.
