Mauro Levi D’Ancona is the co-founder and CEO of 180 Seguros, Latin America leading B2B2C insurtech. He holds a degree in Economics from Brandeis University and a master’s in Administration from Harvard University. Mauro brings nearly two decades of experience in the financial market, having held roles at Goldman Sachs, Société Générale, Pátria Investimentos, and Nubank. At Nubank, a Brazilian fintech icon, he led the Capital Markets and Investor Relations division for three years and later served as General Manager of Investment Products for another year and a half.

Recognizing the untapped potential in Brazil’s insurance sector, where traditional brokers and banks dominate and only 10% of sales occur through partnerships, Mauro co-founded 180 Seguros to transform the industry. 180 Seguros has already established itself as a regional leader, reaching R$ (BRL) 32 million in premiums in April 2025, an annualized ARR of R$ (BRL) 384 million, more than triple its ARR in December 2024. Today, the company serves over 30 clients, including Brazilian unicorns, and among them, fintechs, digital banks, credit unions, and retail companies.
