Mark O’Donnell
Mark O'Donnell is an executive advisor on the opportunities and pitfalls of enterprise-wide AI adoption. He brings 25 years' experience leading product and technology organizations — most recently as a divisional CIO and COO at two investment banks. A senior member of AWS's financial services practice, Mark works hands-on with insurers, banks, asset managers, and fintechs deploying AI to developers, product teams, and business users at scale. His current insurance engagements include agentic AI solutions for claims automation, fraud detection, and underwriting modernization — with the operating model changes needed for scale. Mark is an avid builder, product junkie, and recovering Wall Street quant, with a B.A. and M.A. in Mathematics from Columbia University.
