Marissa Buckley has more than 20 years of experience overseeing innovation, customer and agent experience, growth marketing, automation, and analytics for some of the most innovative startups and insurance carriers. Her unique, hybrid background in computer science and marketing has given her the advantage to lead the creation of several award-winning, industry-first innovations earning the coveted Model Insurer of the Year award from Celent.
One of her most notable accomplishments includes leading the development and promotion of the industry's first storm tracker mobile app with integrated data from the National Hurricane Center generating more than 100K qualified users over a four-day period. As a result of her marketing and innovation success, Marissa is recognized as a Top 25 Industry Innovator and Top 10 Women in Insurance Leadership Honoree.
She majored in Computer Science and received her Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida and Master's in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University, cementing her status as a forward-thinking leader capable of bridging the gap between software development and marketing in the insurance industry.
