Kobi Bendelak is an entrepreneur and visionary leader, serving as the Founder and CEO of InsurTech Israel – a groundbreaking initiative that he established with the goal of advancing and leading the Israeli InsurTech ecosystem onto the global stage. Under his leadership, the Israeli InsurTech ecosystem has grown to more than 200 startups, and InsurTech Israel has evolved into an organization operating across four core pillars: investment, international business development, media, and a leading accelerator program for startups. The organization's accelerator program was selected as the world's leading InsurTech accelerator program in 2024 and 2026, and together these achievements have positioned InsurTech Israel as one of the most influential and leading organizations in the field of insurance innovation worldwide.

In addition, Kobi is a Co-Founder of InsurTech Hub Guatemala, the leading InsurTech innovation hub in Central America, and InsurTech Hub Budapest, a regional innovation hub serving Central and Eastern Europe. He also serves as Chairman of the Global InsurTech Program and as a Board Director of several leading InsurTech companies around the world.

Prior to founding InsurTech Israel, Kobi was the entrepreneurial force behind Reshef Insurance Brokers, which operated within the Migdal/Generali Insurance Group. Kobi has more than 22 years of experience in the insurance industry. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Law from Bar-Ilan University. In addition, he served as a Colonel (Reserve) in the Israel Defense Forces, where he demonstrated significant leadership and management capabilities.
