Kiran serves as Senior Vice President at The Hanover Insurance Group, where he leads the Claims Strategy and Performance Optimization organization. In this role, he is responsible for shaping and executing the enterprise-wide claims strategy. Kiran oversees a diverse portfolio of functions, including Claims Finance and Analytics, Predictive Modeling, Quality and Regulatory Compliance, and the operations of Vendor Management, Claims Shared Services, and the Special Investigations Unit.

Previously, he served as Executive Vice President, Legal, at Liberty Mutual, where he led the Legal Strategy and Operations function in transforming the delivery of legal services. His team won multiple awards for innovation and operational efficiency. Before joining Liberty Mutual, Kiran worked as a research engineer at General Motors, where he managed multiple fuel cell automotive development solutions and held 10 patents. 

Kiran received his MBA in strategy and finance from Simon Graduate School of Business and a master’s in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors for various legal technology companies, including LegalMation and other benchmarking organizations. Kiran has completed his CPCU and holds numerous insurance associate certifications.
