Justin Levine, Co-Founder / Chief Executive Officer

Justin is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shepherd, an insurance technology startup that provides property and casualty insurance for commercial businesses. Shepherd’s insurance products are complemented by a suite of software solutions that improve client risk mitigation. 

Justin has spent his entire career at the intersection of construction, technology, and risk. He began his career at Hunter Roberts Construction Group in New York City, where he led the risk group for 3.5 years. Justin left Hunter Roberts to found TradeTapp, a software platform for commercial General Contractors to manage subcontractor prequalification. The company was acquired in 2018 by BuildingConnected, then again in 2019 by Autodesk. At Autodesk, Justin held the position of Head of Risk Strategy for Autodesk Construction Solutions. 

Justin holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech.
