John Petricelli has been transforming complex data into business insights for more than 40 years. During that time, John (JP) has earned the nickname “Dr. Data.”

JP is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and led multiple companies servicing the securities and insurance service industries.

His extensive experience spans property & casualty insurance, banking and securities, and pharmaceutical drug development.

JP has held many senior positions in his thirty-five-year career including LexisNexis, Verisk, Fiserv Securities, Whitehall Research Laboratories, and The Ford Foundation.

Some of JP’s most notable accomplishments include:

Co-Founder and Chief Data Officer of Confianza, Inc, an analytics and information company whose mission is to change how the insurance industry better utilizes the power of information assets and advanced analytics.

Previously, JP was the Founder and CEO of INOVATUS, LLC, who developed the first true point of sale fraud detection and remediation platform for the insurance industry. The company was sold to Verisk in 2014, and the platform is now a part of their RiskCheck™ Line of products.

JP was the First Vice President and General Manager of MBNA Insurance Services where he led a team of industry professionals to build an 800 seat call center for the first large-scale telemarketing sales of Auto Insurance.

He also authored and implemented APEx™ (Assess, Plan and Execute), a product development lifecycle specific to the pharmaceutical community enabling and expediting the drug development lifecycle, helping to significantly reduce the time to market..

JP was the President and CEO of Whitehall Research Laboratories where his team built the first true multi-currency platform for the securities industry. At the time of the company’s sale more than 13 trillion dollars was managed through the use of the Whitehall platform.

JP was and remains one of the youngest officers ever of the Ford Foundation, a true testament of his leadership, character, and vision.
