John Balsmeier

John Balsmeier is Vice President, Relationship Manager at Talcott Financial Group, bringing more than 20 years of sales leadership experience to the annuity industry. Before joining Talcott, he led the internal sales team at Athene for over a decade. John understands the critical role technology plays in moving the insurance industry forward and is passionate about leveraging innovation to create better experiences for both agents and customers. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University–Idaho and FINRA Series 6, 26, and 66 registrations. John and his wife, Clara, have been married for 23 years and are the proud parents of seven children. Most of his free time is spent cheering at his kids’ games and activities.
