JoAnne Artesani is the Founder & CEO of Sproutr, an insurance program advisory, design, and placement firm that helps program builders bring insurance products to market. She has spent more than 25 years in commercial insurance and has sat on every side of the program table, from carrier underwriting desks to insurtech leadership to the advisory seat she holds today.

Before founding Sproutr in 2022, JoAnne was a Vice President at Hippo Insurance, where she led the development and growth of the company's commercial-lines practice. She previously held leadership roles at AIG and The Hanover Insurance Group, managing underwriting portfolios, MGA programs, and product development, and she led data-driven product design and operational launch at Attune Insurance, a New York-based insurtech later acquired by Pinnacol Assurance.

JoAnne holds a degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and an MBA from Babson College with a concentration in entrepreneurship. She is a frequent speaker and panelist, an advisor to insurance and fintech startups, and a multi-year mentor at InsurtechNY MGA Labs.
