Jim Dwane is a seasoned executive and thought leader in the insurance and financial services sectors, with over 30 years of experience driving innovation, growth, and transformation across global markets. As the Chief Executive Officer of Mission Underwriters, Jim leads a pioneering insurance platform that empowers specialty underwriters to launch and scale their own programs with autonomy and strategic support. 

Prior to joining Mission, Jim served as CEO of bolt Solutions, Inc., where he led the U.S. operations and a development center in Tel Aviv, Israel. Under his leadership, bolt's revenue grew from $30 million to $45 million, and he played a pivotal role in securing over $400 million in Series A and B funding rounds. Jim also transformed bolt’s sales process and expanded its market reach to include a broader range of insurance companies and non-insurance enterprises.

Jim's extensive tenure at American International Group (AIG) included roles such as President and CEO of Latin America and the Caribbean, where he achieved a regional CAGR of over 20% and implemented significant operational and cultural transformations across diverse markets. His earlier roles at AIG spanned business development, personal and commercial lines leadership, and strategic regional management.

A recognized thought leader in the industry, Jim has participated in numerous podcasts, webinars, and executive forums on insurtech, embedded insurance, and distribution strategy. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Vyrd, Inc., and advisory boards for academic institutions including Clemson University.
