Jim Dwane is a seasoned insurance executive with more than three decades of leadership experience across global carriers, specialty program businesses, and insurtech platforms. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of MISSION, a technology-enabled program administrator focused on empowering entrepreneurial underwriters to build and scale specialty insurance programs.

Throughout his career, Jim has led organizations through growth and transformation by aligning strategy, capital, and talent with disciplined execution. Prior to Mission, he was CEO of bolt, a digital insurance exchange platform, where he worked to modernize distribution and strengthen connectivity among carriers, agencies, and customers.

Earlier, Jim held multiple senior leadership roles at AIG, including President and CEO of Latin America and the Caribbean, overseeing complex, multi-country operations across diverse regulatory and economic environments. He also served as CEO of United Automobile Insurance Company, where he focused on underwriting discipline, analytics, and scalable operating models.

Jim’s leadership philosophy centers on accountability, clarity of purpose, and building cultures that balance innovation with risk management. His experience spans large multinational enterprises and high-growth entrepreneurial environments, giving him a practical perspective on capital allocation, digital enablement, and organizational design.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Clemson University and maintains CPCU and CIC designations. Jim looks forward to engaging with fellow CEOs in thoughtful dialogue on leadership, growth, and navigating change in dynamic markets.
