Chief Digital & Client Experience Officer, TIAA

Jessica Austin Barker is the Chief Digital and Client Experience Officer, where she is responsible for leading TIAA’s digital-first client experience and client-centric culture transformation. In her role, she is focused on reimagining how TIAA serves its clients through simplified and cohesive end-to-end experiences and advice that support a path for more Americans to achieve a secure retirement. 

Prior to joining TIAA, Jessica spent 22 years at Intuit, a global technology platform whose household-name offerings include TurboTax, QuickBooks, Mint, Credit Karma and Mailchimp. In her last role, she was Vice President, Consumer Group Customer Experience at Intuit, an executive position responsible for TurboTax customer success and retention. Earlier, Jessica held roles in segment leadership, product management, marketing, and business development for Intuit. She began her career in management consulting with Deloitte Consulting, with a focus on M&A and post-merger integration practice.

Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance from the University of Texas at Austin. She is actively involved in giving back to her community, including serving as an advisor to Support Young Athletes, a youth-led charity organization.
