Ian joined MRV in 2017 to build out MRV’s Portfolio Development offering. Under his leadership, the Portfolio Development team has grown to ~10 people and is responsible for maximizing the value of the MRV Platform to its portfolio companies and limited partners. Portfolio Development supports on areas such as strategy & strategic partnerships, go-to-market & business development, ecosystem building & operational partnerships, and executive hiring & advisors. 

Prior to his current role, Ian was a consultant at Strategy& (Part of the PwC Network). Ian focused on advising financial services executives on successfully incorporating advancing technologies in areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things into their corporate and business strategies.  

Ian lives in San Francisco and graduated summa cum laude with a BSBA in Quantitative Economics and a BA in Mathematics from Drake University.
