Georgette Nicholas

Georgette Nicholas is the Chief Executive Officer and a Board Member of American Life.  She has more than 35 years of experience in the global financial services industry, including insurance, reinsurance and  capital markets.  Her professional background includes significant experience in development and implementing strategy, enterprise risk management, capital raising and investor relations, reinsurance, governance, regulatory engagement, and operations, including technology, product development and pricing. 

Ms. Nicholas previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Midwest Holdings, a formerly listed Nasdaq company, and as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Genworth Mortgage Insurance Australia, a publicly listed ASX company. She has also held senior leadership roles in finance and investors relations with Genworth Financial, Inc., a Fortune 500 insurance holding company specializing in mortgage insurance, life, annuities and long term care.  Ms. Nicholas began her career in public accounting, including serving as a Firm Director at Deloitte and holds professional designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
