Elena Herrick is a seasoned insurance professional with a strong background in product management and underwriting. Currently serving as Vice President of Product & Underwriting at Munich Re Specialty, Insurtech Programs, she leverages her expertise to drive innovation and business development focusing on property and casualty lines. With an insurance career spanning over two decades, Elena has successfully launched multiple programs in the insurtech start-up space with Munich Re serving as both the carrier and reinsurer. Prior to joining Munich Re Specialty, Elena worked at Esurance and Kemper.

Elena holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. Beyond her professional endeavors, Elena is committed to community service. She serves on the Board of Soroptimist International of Lincoln, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
