Cyrus Karai
Cyrus Karai is the CEO and co-founder of CoverForce, the carrier connectivity layer for commercial insurance. CoverForce operates the largest network of bindable carrier APIs in the US, giving agencies, wholesalers, agency networks, and digital distribution partners instant quote, bind, and issue access to 40+ carrier integrations through a single connection, powering more than 10,000 producers nationwide.
Built in partnership with the carriers themselves, CoverForce's connectivity is carrier-approved rather than scraped or screen-automated, a distinction that has made it the trusted rails for over 20 of the largest agency wholesalers and networks in America. The company applies AI throughout the placement workflow, from reading complex submission documents with over 95% accuracy to translating how an agency describes a risk into how each individual carrier underwrites it. As the industry races to put AI at the front of the placement process, CoverForce provides the connectivity layer underneath that lets those intelligent systems actually transact. CoverForce is backed by Insight Partners, QED Investors, and Nyca Partners, and was founded out of the University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to CoverForce, Cyrus built his career at the intersection of insurance, technology, and go-to-market strategy, with experience at PwC, Credit Suisse, and BlackRock, and an MBA from the Wharton School. He is passionate about building durable carrier partnerships and systems that let small, efficient teams scale outsized impact.
