Chris Bayley is the Co-Founder of Cover Genius, a Series E insurtech founded in 2014 and Founding Partner of Deck2.vc. Cover Genius was formed to protect the customers of the world’s largest digital companies. The company has attracted over US$200 million in investment capital from leading American and European funds and grown rapidly to over 600 employees globally while signing up 2 million customers a month at a growth rate of 50%.

After stepping down from day-to-day work at Cover Genius in 2024, Chris established Deck2.vc, a private equity fund focused on insurance/insurtech distributors, and a separate fund for early stage insurtech and fintech investments. Chris is also an active philanthropist focused on South-East Asian development. 

Chris worked at Google prior to starting Cover Genius with his business partner Angus McDonald, who remains CEO.
