Carlos Chávez is co-founder and CEO of Braven (formerly Sytrex), an AI platform for specialty insurance and reinsurance. Braven works with carriers, reinsurers, brokers and MGAs in 8 countries across the US, Latin America and the London Market. It processes more than USD 850 million in gross written premium and has launched more than 8 programs across commercial and specialty insurance. Before Braven, Carlos founded a fintech startup and exited it. He was born and raised in Colombia, lives in San Francisco, and is active in the Latin American founder community in Silicon Valley.
