Bryan K. Schmidt - SGIC’s Secretary and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Schmidt earned a Master’s accreditation in Management & Leadership from Loughborough University, UK. Previously, he earned a BS in Business & Accounting.

After graduating university, Mr. Schmidt started his career as a Professional Hockey player where he played for 10 years in several various American & European Hockey Leagues.  

Mr. Schmidt’s first role was as a Senior Project Manager for the Premier Family of Companyies where he worked for two years prior to establishing and growing a construction company in the US Virgin Islands which has been incredibly successful. After completing four years of managing construction operations in the Virgin Islands, Bryan spent two years as Premier Administrative Solution’s Director of TPA Operations before being moved to SGIC where he was the Director of Operations for over 3 years before being promoted to SGIC’s Chief Operating Officer.
