Ankur Patel
Ankur Patel is the founder and CEO of Multimodal, an agentic AI company purpose-built for automating complex workflows in finance and insurance. With over 15 years of experience building AI/ML systems for financial services, Ankur's career began in big finance, with leading positions at J.P. Morgan and Bridgewater Associates before transitioning to AI roles in high-growth startups like Theta Ray and 7 Park Data (exit to Vista Equity Partners). He then co-founded two prior ventures: R-Squared Macro and Glean.ai (exit to Pipe). Multimodal is Ankur's third venture.
A Princeton University graduate with a B.A. from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Ankur is also an accomplished author in the AI field, having had 3 books published by O'reilly.
