Andrew Mais
Commissioner Andrew N. Mais is Connecticut's 33rd Insurance Commissioner and an industry leader. As President-Elect of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and through his role with the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), he helps shape regulatory standards and drive global insurance supervision.
Passionate about diversity and inclusion, Commissioner Mais co-chairs the NAIC's Special Executive Committee on Race and Insurance, actively advancing these critical conversations within the industry. During Commissioner Mais’ career, he has been a member of Deloitte's Center for Financial Services and served as Director of the New York State Insurance Department, skillfully navigating complex regulatory environments.
In addition to his professional contributions, Commissioner Mais dedicates himself to public service, most recently through his role as chair of the Council on Ethics for his hometown of Wilton, Connecticut.
