Alena is the Head of Claims within WTW’s Insurance Consulting and Technology business in the Americas. In her role, she partners with insurers to future-proof claims operations through a range of strategic initiatives, including the integration of advanced analytics and AI, to help carriers elevate performance, strengthen competitive advantage, and deliver superior outcomes for their customers.

Before joining WTW, Alena led key functions in executive roles at Intact Financial, Canada’s largest property and casualty insurer. Over nearly two decades, she built deep, end-to-end expertise across claims, analytics, actuarial, underwriting, M&A, digital distribution, and strategy.

Alena is a Fellow of both the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, where she also serves as a Board Director. She holds an Honors Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto.
