Ajay Dankar is the co-founder and CEO of Trussed AI, an enterprise AI governance company pioneering runtime governance for Generative AI and Agentic AI. Trussed enables organizations to safely deploy and scale AI by enforcing policies in real time across AI applications, AI agents, developer tools, and large language models. The platform helps regulated enterprises operationalize AI governance through policy enforcement, auditability, and traceability while meeting rapidly evolving regulatory expectations.

With nearly 30 years of experience building large-scale distributed systems and cloud platforms, Ajay has held product and engineering leadership roles at Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Adobe, and PayPal/eBay. Throughout his career, he has focused on designing infrastructure that operates at enterprise scale while balancing performance, reliability, security, and cost.

At Google Cloud, Ajay worked with Fortune 500 customers to solve complex cloud networking, scalability, and load-balancing challenges. At AWS, he led product management for Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), helping drive broad enterprise adoption while delivering significant infrastructure cost savings. At Adobe, he led cloud platform and optimization initiatives supporting Creative Cloud and Experience Cloud across AWS and Microsoft Azure, enabling large-scale cloud modernization and operational efficiency.

Prior to founding Trussed AI, Ajay founded Finsphere, where he served as CTO and pioneered one of the industry's first mobile location-based credit card fraud detection platforms. The company was acquired by Visa, where its technology became part of Visa's fraud prevention capabilities.

At Trussed AI, Ajay is helping define the emerging category of runtime AI governance. As enterprises move from AI experimentation to production, he believes governance must extend beyond policies and monitoring to real-time enforcement. Under his leadership, Trussed has built a platform that governs AI interactions before they create regulatory, security, or operational risk, providing enterprises with comprehensive audit trails and policy enforcement across heterogeneous AI ecosystems.

Trussed is trusted by one of the largest U.S. insurance carriers, where the platform governs billions of AI tokens every day across production AI workloads. The company also works closely with insurers, financial institutions, healthcare organizations, and technology partners to operationalize AI governance as AI adoption accelerates.

Ajay actively collaborates with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), state Departments of Insurance, and industry leaders on the practical implementation of AI governance and emerging regulatory frameworks. He is a frequent speaker and advisor on enterprise AI governance, cloud architecture, distributed systems, and the operational challenges of deploying AI safely at scale.

Ajay holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi.
