AJ Colbert

AJ is a results-driven financial services executive with in-depth experience leading strategic initiatives, business planning, and detailed financial analyses to create essential innovations and recommendations for industry leading global corporations. Today, as the Head of Strategy & Corporate Development, AJ leads the team responsible for orchestrating the long-term strategy, competitive intelligence, and corporate development activities of Liberty Mutual's ~$25B commercial and specialty (re)insurance business, Global Risk Solutions.

Prior to joining Global Risk Solutions, AJ was a Senior Manager in the Corporate Strategy & Research department, where he advised Liberty Mutual’s most-senior executives on enterprise-wide strategic decisions. Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, AJ held investment analyst and strategist roles with Cambridge Associates and Shepherd Kaplan LLC. 

AJ received a BSBA in Finance & Marketing from Elon University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. AJ also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations.
