ITC Vegas Commits to Investing in the Las Vegas Community Through Charitable Donations to the American Red Cross of Nevada and Other Local Charities

InsureTech Connect (ITC) is proud to announce its commitment to give back to Las Vegas, the community it calls home for ITC Vegas, the world’s largest gathering of insurance innovation. ITC will make donations to the American Red Cross of Nevada as well as several other area charities, including Wagging Tails, Three Square, and more, and encourage its attendees to participate in charity donations and activities for the local community while at the event.

“In an era marked by shifts in weather patterns, including longer, warmer summers and powerful storms, we are pleased to partner with Las Vegas and Nevada-based charities to support those facing the challenges of these evolving conditions,” states Nicole Peck, Executive Vice President of the Digital Innovation Portfolio. “Our responsibility as the event organizers of ITC Vegas goes beyond just our involvement in the insurance sectors; it also encompasses our commitment to the communities we impact and the well-being of all.”

In partnering with the American Red Cross of Nevada, ITC Vegas will support climate disaster relief efforts in the Nevada area, including people whose lives have been upended by wildfires, storms, floods, and countless other crises. The initiative will not only help with immediate needs like food and shelter, but it will also put people on the road to recovery and guide communities as they better prepare for disasters.

ITC Vegas attendees can participate alongside InsureTech Connect in supporting the American Red Cross of Nevada in several ways as part of the event. Attendees can opt to attend one or more ITC Vegas masterclasses, new this year, specialized educational sessions designed to impart advanced strategies, best practices, and visionary concepts, fostering a transformative path towards excellence within the industry. ITC Vegas will charge a small fee for each masterclass as an add-on to a standard ticket, and 50% of all masterclass fees will be contributed towards Climate Disaster relief.

Additionally, ITC Vegas will support the American Red Cross of Nevada via an exciting new show floor area, a penalty kick competition, in partnership with Betterfly. Attendees can take their best shot at scoring a goal against a virtual “goalie” as part of a penalty kick simulation. For each goal scored, ITC Vegas will donate $10 to the American Red Cross of Nevada, towards a goal of $5,000 in donations. The penalty kick competition will be in the ITC LATAM Experience on the ITC Vegas show floor, a new area showcasing the best of the best of Latin America’s insurtechs, including a special LATAM Discovery stage with two days of content, kiosks, and booths.

ITC Vegas will also support local charity Wagging Tails, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs from high-kill shelters and owner surrenders, with a $12,000 donation. ITC Vegas attendees can spend time with adorable, adoptable rescue puppies at two separate “puppy lounges” (presented by At-Bay and InvoiceCloud) on the ITC Vegas show floor. The puppy lounges will be open on Wednesday, November 1 from 10 am – 12 pm, 1 pm – 3 pm, and 4 pm-6 pm; and on Thursday, November 2 from 9 am – 11 am, 12 pm – 2 pm, and 3 pm – 5 pm.

ITC Vegas is also partnering with Three Square, Southern Nevada’s only food bank and the area’s largest hunger relief organization. All leftover catering food from the event will be donated to Three Square in support of the local Las Vegas area.

Finally, during ITC Vegas, InsureTech Connect will also support ITC Vegas sponsor Clearspeed in their Clearspeed Gives Back initiative, where attendees can join Clearspeed, ITC, and partner Clean the World in assembling hygiene kits for the area’s local homeless population. ITC Vegas attendees can help assemble the kits on Tuesday, October 31 in the registration area, and on Wednesday, November 1, and Thursday, November 2 in the expo hall near the International Delegation and Founders House.

ITC’s charitable activities are part of the Clarion Cares program, an initiative to give back to the communities that are affected by and engaged in events by ITC’s parent company, Clarion Events.
