Founded by the team behind FloorPlanOnline, a floor plan and 3D tour technology provider serving real estate professionals since 2004, HomeDiary extends two decades of property-capture expertise into a new problem: insurers and policyholders both operate with almost no reliable record of what a home actually looked like before a loss occurred, or how big the property is to accurately assess the replacement cost. Claims get disputed. Underwriting relies on stale photos or none at all and tax assessor data that may or may not be accurate. Pre-existing damage gets confused with new damage, and the back-and-forth erodes trust on every side.

HomeDiary solves this with a continuous, timestamped visual record of a home — captured at key moments across its lifecycle and stored as a permanent, searchable "diary" tied to the property itself. Using our mobile scanning technology (powered by Wescan), homeowners, agents, or builders can capture an accurate 3D floor plan and full visual walkthrough in minutes, no specialized equipment required. The homeowner then has an HGTV-like space planner and designer to help manage their home.

For insurers specifically, we also have a service to create a Space Timeline with highly accurate "as-built" floor plan (with 99.5% accuracy or higher) — a chronological record spanning pre-slab, pre-drywall, move-in, and beyond — so there is always a clear, date-stamped answer to "what did this home look like, and when." Our X-Ray Vision feature adds a capability nothing else on the market offers: the ability to blend before-and-after 3D scans of the same space into a single view, revealing what changed behind the walls, under the flooring, or across a renovation — the kind of documentation that today only exists (if at all) in a contractor's memory or a handful of disconnected phone photos. Combined with the Space Timeline, this gives insurers a Carfax-style condition history for real property: faster claims review, fewer disputed assessments, more accurate underwriting, and a documented paper trail that protects both the carrier and the policyholder.
