Elysian is building the future of insurance claims with an AI-powered claims quality platform that rethinks how people and technology work together across the claims lifecycle. Built specifically for the industry's most complex, high-stakes claims, Elysian combines purpose-built AI with deep claims expertise to help insurers identify risk earlier, improve handling consistency, and drive better claims and customer outcomes.

At the center of the platform is Ely, Elysian's claims-specialist AI agent, designed to reason across the entire claim file — including documents, images, correspondence, financials, and other data — and continuously surface the insights claims professionals need to make better-informed decisions. Unlike technology focused primarily on automating straightforward claims tasks, Elysian was built for the "gnarly" work where experienced judgment matters most.

Elysian brings this approach to market through three offerings: Ely Audit, which provides claims quality at scale with assessments of open and closed claims; Ely Adjust, which monitors active claims and delivers forward-looking recommendations while keeping the adjuster in control; and Elysian TPA, which combines experienced, line-of-business-specialized adjusters with Elysian's AI-native technology for end-to-end claims handling.

Elysian was founded in 2024 by Grace Hanson, a five-time Chief Claims Officer and attorney with leadership experience at AIG, Allied World, Homesite, Hiscox, and Hippo. After spending her career managing complex claims organizations, Grace founded Elysian to build the technology and claims operation she wished she had as a claims executive.

Rather than layering AI onto legacy claims technology, Elysian built an AI-native claims operating system from the ground up, pairing technology with seasoned claims professionals to bring greater insight, consistency, accountability, and quality to complex commercial claims.
