Free solo climber Alex Honnold is one of the most extraordinary humans alive today and he views the horizon of possibilities from a vantage point reserved for an elite few. He sees opportunities the rest of us would never consider, and while there are risks associated with his extreme sport, he knows the outcome is worth the pursuit.
He is the only person to ever free solo Yosemite’s 3,000-foot El Capitan, and earlier this year, he climbed the 101-story Taipei 101 without any ropes. “Time is finite and we should use it in the most meaningful way that we can,” he shared after his record-breaking climb.
While insurance focuses on identifying and managing risks, Hannold shows us what happens when preparation, practice, and skill turn what was once impossible into an achievement.
Alex continues to inspire millions and will share with the ITC Vegas audience the valuable lessons he’s learned about preparing for and assessing the challenges surrounding any significant endeavor, as well as the art of managing the risks we all encounter in every area of life.
