Principles and Practical Uses for Clinical Epigenetic Testing in Underwriting and Wellness Programming
In this presentation, we will review the overall landscape, scientific principles and test performance characteristics for the current generation of clinical epigenetic tests including those for cancer (both broad based or focused on colon or lung), cardiovascular disease and substance use. We will then focus on the Life Insurance Market, present real life use cases and net protective value analyses. Finally, we will outline strategies for the implementation of this novel technology for the initial underwriting and wellness programming for in-force policy blocks.
