Curated Programs​​

This year at ITC Vegas we will host a range of curated content programs, focused on Agents, Brokers, Life & Annuity/Group Benefits, and LATAM. 

The goal of these curated programs is to create dedicated space within ITC Vegas for meaningful connections to be made amongst delegates who specialize in certain facets of the insurance value chain.

ITC Agents is our new program for independent agents and agency owners. It consists of a high-impact full day of workshops and an expo on Tuesday October 15, followed by complete access to the rest of ITC Vegas. ITC Agents has special pricing for agents and more info can be found here >>  

The Life & Annuity / Group Benefits space already boasts a significant number of attendees at ITC Vegas, with our 2023 event featuring more than 125 life & annuity insurance companies alone. We will carve out space for carriers, brokers, and startups to discuss the impact of AI, wearables, and other technologies on L&A, as well as highlight the newest coverage trends affecting the ever-changing workplace. Those interested in Latin America’s (LATAM) thriving insurance community will be eager to participate in ITC LATAM. Returning for our third gathering, the content, networking, and innovation showcased at ITC LATAM will once again be “the most important technological and insurance meeting in Latin America!” Read more here >>

ITC Brokers will cater to the needs of the mid- and large-cap P&C community. Along with our sponsor partner at BrokerTech Ventures, ITC Brokers will engage the broker community for three days of content and a dedicated area on the expo hall floor. The three neighborhoods (Brokers, LATAM, and L&A + Group Benefits) that run on Wednesday and Thursday will also serve as a central hub for each community, each with its own lounge, food and beverage activations, and networking activities on both Wednesday, October 16, and Thursday, October 17. 

THINGS THAT ARE INSPIRING ME

ITC President Nicole Peck shares what's on her radar this month - from business to pop culture, branding to industry trends.

1. Our plant diversity/risk offset- “in case of planetary emergency”- just increased. Twenty-three seed banks took part in the most recent deposit into the Doomsday Vault, nine of them for the first time, which was the largest number of newcomers introduced on one single vault opening (it only opens three times per year).

2. We are firmly in the place where AI has moved from experimental to essential and at an extremely exponential pace. This TED Talk by Imran Chaudhri, makes me believe that the nightly argument with my teenage son to put away the phone may not be a thing in the not-so-distant future. Future technology may soon be invisible.

3. In the last couple of weeks, my team, our event and myself have been tagged in posts on social calling for the elimination of the “Manel”, which is a panel of all men at all conferences. These posts have also asked that men do not participate on a panel unless a female is present, #unmanelyourpanel. This is a huge initiative and one we take seriously. Thank you to those individuals committing to this cause.

Small business insurtech and ITC alum, Coterie, has announced a $27m funding round. This includes new investments from Hiscox as well as existing investors Intact Ventures, Weatherford Capital and RPM Ventures.
