 THINGS THAT ARE INSPIRING ME

ITC President Nicole Peck shares what's on her radar this month - from business to pop culture, branding to industry trends.
 

1. Phish performed at the Sphere in Las Vegas: This past weekend, multiple loves of mine collided in Vegas. Music, state of the art technology, and a series of shows I will regret missing for a long time. I was lucky enough to see U2 perform after ITC Vegas 2023 at The Sphere and if you can come to Vegas early or stay late to see a performance here, you won’t be disappointed.

2. A hack of a $1.5 trillion healthcare system: Absence of adequate remote access authentication has emerged as the probable cause of the infamous Change Healthcare ransomware attack.

3. First Keynote Announced: I am already taking notes and soliciting feedback on questions to ask Captain Scott Kelly when he takes to the ITC Vegas main stage in October. A year+ spent in space, four space flights and countless problems solved. It’s going to be a conversation worth listening into! Read more on Captain Kelly below.

 FIRST ITC VEGAS KEYNOTE ANNOUNCEMENT 

ICYMI...That’s right, Captain Scott Kelly, former NASA astronaut and retired United States Navy Captain, will be one of the headline speakers at ITC Vegas 2024.  

When Captain Scott Kelly became the first American to spend a year in orbit aboard the International Space Station, the world watched as he pushed the limits of human endurance. 

As our industry tackles challenges beyond the balance sheet, where societal, environmental, and ethical stakes are as pressing as financial concerns, we look to the inspiration of the cosmos and to fearless risk-takers and explorers like Captain Kelly.

J​​​​oin us and Captain Scott Kelly for an exclusive discussion on the main stage at ITC Vegas 2024, as he shares his insights from his journey to space and how we can harness that same spirit of exploration and adaptation in our quest for new frontiers in insurance. Watch out for a chance to submit your questions for Captain Kelly, coming this summer.
