THINGS THAT ARE INSPIRING ME

ITC President Nicole Peck shares what's on her radar this month - from business to pop culture, branding to industry trends.
 

1. It’s so good to hear that there is still significant investment happening in our industry. Massive congratulations to Arbol, Akur8, and Cover Genius. I know things are tough at the moment, and we look forward to supporting as many of you as possible by creating the perfect ecosystem for growth at ITC Vegas.

2. I’ve really enjoyed reading Gallagher Re’s Global Insurtech Report, and I’m sure you aren’t surprised when I tell you that 28% of the deals this year so far have been for AI-centered insurtechs. Watch out for our next keynote announcement! This person is so impressive and will be super current with the topic in October.

3. Have you ever thought of Asia as your next destination? Well, I’ve spent the week recording an introductory video for the ITC Asia event as I will be unable to attend because my son’s final exams clash with the event. Shout out to all with kids surviving finals and congratulations to all of you who have a recent graduate. If you’re heading there, please say hi to the team - Rocio and Bianca will both be there.

STATE FARM STARTUP PITCH COMPETITION

Where innovation takes flight!

We are thrilled to announce that applications are now open for the annual State Farm Startup Pitch Competition.

The fan-favorite pitch competition highlights groundbreaking innovation in insurtech, where ten top startup finalists will deliver their perfect pitch LIVE at ITC Vegas to a standing room only audience. 

Who should apply? 
Applications are open to seed-stage companies under three years old, with fewer than 30 employees, that have not yet raised a Series A. All business lines are welcome! 

Key Dates and Participation Details
- Monday, August 5: application deadline
- Tuesday, August 20: finalists announced
- Tuesday, October 15: top ten finalists will pitch live at ITC Vegas. Each will have 5 minutes to present, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. 

Grand Prize Details
The winner will:
- Present their winning 5-minute pitch on the legendary ITC Vegas Main Stage on Thursday, October 17
- Receive one (1) complimentary kiosk at ITC Vegas 2025
