Thomas Holmes is currently the Head of US Actuarial Data Science at Akur8. At Akur8, Thomas is working directly with users to ensure they get the best models and insights from Akur8's software while also working with Akur8's product team to recommend and prioritize new enhancements. Before Akur8, he worked for several years at a large US carrier spending time as an analyst for commercial auto and then as a lead modeler on the property modeling team. During his time as an actuary, he has worked with GLMs, GLMnets, and GBMs. He received his Fellowship from the Casualty Actuarial Society in 2019.
