Shawn Broadfield has spent his career, from a number of roles, solving business problems. During Shawn’s established career with Allstate, he has served as Vice President over several areas, including Claims Innovation, Customer Design and Experience, Claims Risk Management, Claim Strategy, PMO, and Advanced Analytics. Working throughout the Allstate organization as the claim executive on business topics such as setting of the organization's strategic agenda, spearheading major technology projects from the business side, leading a team of professional data and advanced analytics people, as well as executive team member, leading the 16,000-employee claim organization. Prior to that, Shawn was President of Sterling Autobody, formally a wholly-owned subsidiary of Allstate Corporation where he led the 1,200-employee, $200M in revenue retail network of body shops for Allstate. He spent the first half of his career in Finance, serving in a variety of roles including Chief Financial Officer of Sterling Autobody. Shawn sits on the advisory board of directors for Urban Initiatives (Chicago, IL), is an insurtech advisor to startups, and is a past board member of the Global Insurance Accelerator (Des Moines, IA). He has also been a sponsor advisor for MIT Center for Information Systems Research out of the Sloan business school. Shawn is a fellow of Leadership Greater Chicago. He holds an MBA from Keller Graduate School of management in entrepreneurship and is a licensed Real Estate broker in Illinois.
