Nanditha Nandy leads Data Science for Life and Health at Swiss Re. In her role she leads data driven tech tools implementation targeting improvement of operational efficiencies in underwriting and development of InsureTech solution offerings. She and her team also engage in industry research and partnerships to evaluate value of 3rd party data sources, risk scores and models within Life and Health business. She brings lot of experience working with EHR data and accelerated underwriting models. Partnering with carriers, and actuarial teams her focus is to drive innovation but with regulatory, mortality and pricing implications in mind. Nanditha has been in the insurance industry for nearly 7 years. Prior, she held roles in Tech industry and Consulting. She holds double master's degrees, MS in Business Analytics and Projects Management from UConn and M Tech in Embedded Systems and Robotics. Her area of interest includes Accelerated Underwriting models, alternative risk assessment tools (EHRs, CHDs) and product development.
