Megan Kuczynski leads InsureTechConnect (ITC) - the dominant global brand in the B2B insurance industry. She embraces the challenge of mapping its strategy in cadence with the disruptive pace of the insurance technology market while expanding ITC’s global presence.
No stranger to technology markets, Megan began her career in B2B media shortly after college at United Business Media (UBM) in San Francisco where she accidentally started selling exhibit space after applying for an editorial job. Fast forward a few years and she was at the helm of the market’s fastest-growing Electronic-OEM event portfolio where Kuczynski accelerated growth through strategic launches, acquisitions, and international expansions into the Asian and European markets. Never a dull moment in Silicon Valley for this self-described tech junkie.
Megan was then recruited to Penton Media to run one of the fastest-growing trade shows on record, Internet World. A brand that capitalized on one of the greatest business and technology disrupters in history, the Internet. She grew the portfolio through in-show launches and strategic acquisitions and hardly slept a wink during the global rise of the brand. Her true leadership skills, however, are measured by leading her team through the dot com market crash and the shockwaves of 9/11.
Other leadership roles include “entrepreneur-in-residence” for Diversified Business Communications, where she launched the company into holistic healthcare with the Integrative Healthcare Symposium (IHS), now 15 years old and growing strong. Shortly thereafter, Megan was recruited to Reed Exhibitions as a Senior Vice President to run and grow the healthcare and life sciences division. While at Reed Exhibitions, Kuczynski was named “Next Generation CEO” by Tradeshow Week Magazine.
Megan graduated Cum Laude from Hillsdale College which included a year at Keble College, Oxford University. She currently serves on the Stamford Yacht Club’s board of directors.
