Kara is responsible for growing and managing strategic alliances in the transportation, property, consumer loyalty, and affinity verticals at Liberty Mutual. Prior to joining Liberty in 2000, she worked as a Practice Leader for GEs Healthcare Division and held roles in sales and marketing in the insurance sector at advertising agencies and direct mail shops. She joined Liberty as an Account Development Specialist, was then promoted to Client Services Manager, and again to Vice President of Client Services. In 2017, Kara was promoted to her current role of Sr. Managing Director, Vice President where she works with many auto manufacturers and retail brands throughout the US responsible for developing and growing their personal and small business lines programs. Kara holds a BA from Boston College and MBA from Bentley University. She also serves on the Executive Board at PIMA (Professional Insurance Marketing Association) as well as Co-Chairs the Careers Committee for Liberty’s Able ERG.
Kara considers her primary job to be a "juggler," managing a busy career with 2 growing and active boys, Ben and Charlie. She resides in the northern suburbs of Boston.
