John leads the Aon Inpoint Claims practice and oversees the claims consulting services and the Inpoint software offerings - Inpoint ClaimsMonitor®, Inpoint UnderwritingMonitor®, Claims Signal™ and ExperienceMonitor. He focuses on fostering relationships with the business and technology communities to deliver value by understanding the problem statement and advising clients to drive improvements in claims operational efficiency by improving business processes and solution architecture.
Most recently, John led a strategic initiative to develop a next generation open claims quality solution, Claims Signal™ to identify potential financial opportunity on claim files using Natural Language Processing and Predictive Analytics. John drove the original concept, generated executive buy-in and built a team to deliver a working prototype in 6 months.
John has 21 years of experience engaging on business and technology related projects with the last 17 years focused in business and solutions architecture in Claims Transformation projects leveraging core claim systems, document management systems, and enterprise portals. John is experienced in delivering strategic technical capabilities assessments, as well as COTS and custom developed Claim systems in the Insurance vertical.
Previously, John has held positions at Guidewire Software, IBM, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a graduate of the University of California San Diego.
